Parents/Guardians,

The following information applies to students intending to participate on one of our winter sports teams. If your child does not plan to participate in a winter sport, you can disregard this message.

The Winter Season includes:

1. Girls Basketball - includes tryouts on Tuesday (Dec. 1st), Wednesday (Dec. 2nd), and Thursday (Dec. 3rd *if needed*)

2. Boys Basketball - includes tryouts on Tuesday (Dec. 1st), Wednesday (Dec. 2nd), and Thursday (Dec. 3rd *if needed*)

3. Fitness Program - open to any student who signs up and is medically cleared by the deadline; begins Tuesday, December 1st

Please keep in mind that in order for your child to try out, all completed and signed athletic forms must be uploaded to the Genesis Parent Portal by Friday, November 20th. The following is a link to access all forms and instructions pertaining to the process: Steps for Interscholastic Participation Clearance. The registration process is completely paperless. If your child participated in a fall sport, you need to complete Step 1 and the Health History Form in Step 2 in the clearance instructions. The feature to upload your child's completed athletic paperwork is now open in Genesis.

Additionally, students who participate in a winter sport will need to pay the Student Activity Fee by Wednesday, December 9.
