We wanted to share a short video highlighting the incredible work of our Cavallini students and the impact of our recent canned food donation initiative.
This project began in December as a collaboration between the 7th Grade Enrichment students and the Leo Club. Thanks to the generosity and participation of our school community, we were able to collect an amazing 2,700 cans of food. The 7th Grade Enrichment students then used the cans to design and build creative structures as part of the project, while the Leo Club reached out to local food pantries to find organizations that could best benefit from our donation.This past Friday, students from both groups came together to load the truck and send the donation to the Center for Food Action in Mahwah, where it will help support local families in need.
Mrs. Donnelly and I are incredibly proud of our Cavallini students and the entire Cavallini community for coming together to make this initiative such a success. Their teamwork, creativity, and generosity truly reflect the spirit of our school. We are also very grateful for the continued support of the administration in helping make meaningful opportunities like this possible for our students.
