Bogert students were treated to a very exciting assembly yesterday for the Kid's Heart Challenge. Guests from Learnin' the Ropes came to teach about how important jump rope is to living a healthy life style. Students and teachers participated in different jump rope challenges!

Ms. Weil and Ms. Massaro co-taught a lesson for Hispanic Heritage Month, by teaching the students about worry dolls. Students then created their own worry dolls during class!

In recognition of Fire Safety Week, Chief Zappella from the Jersey City Fire Department and her daughter, Erica Zappella, spoke to Mrs. Walker’s class to teach students important fire safety measures. They shared valuable tips on how to stay safe and protect their families in the event of a fire. In this photo, Erica is dressed in firefighter gear, which helps keep firefighters safe as they work hard to protect our community.

Students had a great time during Mix It Up Day by switching up their lunch seating! They sat with classmates who shared the same birth date and enjoyed discovering fun things they had in common.

Attention 4th Grade Parents! The Halloween party, sponsored by the PTO, is quickly approaching. Please see the newsletter for the date and a direct link to the sign-up.

Congratulations to the Bobcats of the month for September! Keep up the great work, Bobcats!

Bogert Field Day

Today, students had the opportunity to hear from and meet popular author, Chris Grabenstein. He spoke to the children about his inspirations, the writing process, and even the rejection process and how it's important to remain undeterred. Thank you to the PTO for funding this outstanding opportunity for Bogert's students!

Say hello to the Bobcats of the Month for February! We appreciate you!

Bogert students continue to earn a record number of "paws" for their positive behaviors in school. As a reward, and thanks to the generosity of the Upper Saddle River Pto, the students earned a very special surprise - an indoor gaga pit! (Check out their excitement in the video below.) Thank you to the students for their great school behavior, the parents for their support, and to the Upper Saddle River Pto for their thoughtfulness and generosity!
