¡Bienvenidos a la clase de Español de 6° grado!
Señora BeviáWelcome to the 2022-2023 school year! It is my pleasure to introduce myself to you. My name is Maria Beviá. I will be teaching sixth grade Spanish this year.
I earned my masters degree this year in Spanish Language and Cultures from the University of Salamanca, Spain. I also have a teaching degree in World Language Education from William Paterson University as well as a degree in Music Performance from the Conservatory of Music in Barcelona, Spain.
As a teacher, my main goal is to encourage students to fulfill their potential by instilling in them a passion for Spanish culture and language and by challenging them to transcend what they perceive as their limitations.
In this class, students will be expected to work at school and at home in order to fully understand the concepts taught. You can expect your son/daughter to have homework frequently. If your son/daughter needs extra help with his/her homework or simply has a question, I am available during Academic Support.
I firmly believe that the best education will take place when the parents, students, and teachers work together as a team.
I am looking forward to working with you and your child this school year. I assure you I will work diligently to make your child’s classroom environment both engaging and productive.
Thank you again for this opportunity to introduce myself.
Respectfully,
Ms. Beviá
