The primary purpose of homework is to encourage your child to be responsible and to reinforce concepts taught in class. Homework is due the following morning, unless otherwise noted. The nightly "Just Right" reading book is considered homework.
- Students should read nightly for 10-15 minutes from their "Just Right" books
- Complete "Home Links" math page
- SIGHT WORDS (optional homework)
It is important that children learn how to read and spell sight words as part of their literacy development. Whenever possible, I ask that you devote some time to practicing this important work with your child. Attached is a list of fun activities you can use along with a complete set of "red"/sight words that we use in school.
