    Welcome to 7th Grade Social Studies!

    This year we will focus on American History from the time the country was first inhabited by Native Americans through the Civil War. In order to accomplish this task, each student will engage in a variety of essential skills including critical thinking, class discussions, cooperative learning, research techniques, active listening, and writing.
