My name is Mrs. Katharine Miros. I am so excited to be your teacher this school year! We are going to successfully navigate the world of reading, writing and math together!
This year will mark my 6th year at Bogert Elementary School and my 16th year teaching. I have an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, a Special Education Certification from William Paterson University and a Masters in Literacy from NYU. Can you tell I love to learn?
When I am not at school, I am at home with my husband Pete of 14 years and my 3 children-Zoe, James and Nicolette. While I am not originally from Bergen County, my family and I have made our home here. Don’t be surprised if you see me at Jr. Highlands sporting events since I am a resident of one of the quad towns.
This is going to be a wonderful year and I am so happy to have you in my class!
