Tardiness/Absences: It is important to get your child to school on time. Students enter the classroom at 7:55AM and begin their morning procedures. After the 8:05AM bell rings, any student not present will be marked absent. If the student enters the room late, he/she must get a tardy slip from the nurse. Class begins at 8:10 AM. Absent students will have their work placed in a folder and given to them on their return to school. If you wish to have work and books that day, please email me by noon.
Assignments: Students' assignment books are filled in each day. At the end of the day students check their assignments and place their needed books and papers in their backpacks. Parents can check my website to check the day's assignments if your child's assignment book is not clear.
Folders: Students will take home graded papers when available. Tests will be go home when graded and must be returned and signed in two days.
Grading:
Birthday Treats: Birthdays can be celebrated in school. Students can bring in healthy finger food birthday treats for the class, which are distributed during snack time.
Scholastic Book Orders: Students will receive monthly Scholastic Book orders. Please return them by the Friday of the week given out. Code of Conduct: Click on link below.
