Welcome to Upper Saddle River's Website for
D.A.R.E.
(Drug Abuse Resistance Education)

The Upper Saddle River Police Department D.A.R.E. program is a cooperative effort between the Police Department, Youth Guidance Council, Schools and the Parents. The D.A.R.E. Officer spends a tremendous amount of time mentoring our youth and teaching them the skills they need to resist peer pressure and live productive drug and violence free lives. In addition to classroom instruction, the Police Department, along with the Youth Guidance Council sponsor other positive activities that benefit the children and reinforce the positive relationship between the child and the police officer.
